In order to achieve its goal of maintaining a balanced relationship between the Iraqi elites and state institutions, RCD organized a lecture delivered by Eng. Mohammed Shia' Al-Sudani, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, entitled (Social Care: Opportunities and Challenges) in presence of elite members of the parliament and Najaf Provincial Council as well as a group of executives and academics in Najaf. The Minister highlighted the importance of the new social care law as adopting poverty as a key criterion in determining who is eligible to join under this law. He pointed out that the law is currently being implemented by the World Bank, consists of two main parts: data auditing and social research. Attendees addressed the providing jobs for graduates and the activation of the private sector and other matters relating to the labor sector in Iraq. For his part, Al-Sudani answered all the questions, thanking the management of RCD, which promised to organize another lecture close to the minister on the industry sector, which is occupied by Al-Sudani at the current time.
