Post-Victory Iraq: Diagnosis and Initiatives . Lecture by the Speaker of Iraqi Council of Representatives at RCD
Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue RCD organized a lecture entitled ( Post-Victory Iraq: Diagnosis and Initiatives) lectured by the Speaker of Iraqi Council of Representatives, Dr. Salim Al-Jubouri in presence of a group of political, academic, religious and decision-makers. He stressed the need to re-evaluate the relationship between the components of the Iraqi people, stressing the need to develop a deliberate theory to face the crises that may emerge after the achievement of the recent victory over terrorist groups, stressing at the same time that Iraqis today have exceeded the stage of concern about sectarian conflict and civil war. Dr. Salim Al-Jubouri talked about the most important data of the current situation in the region, considering these data ideal conditions that make Iraq in relative calm compared to the previous phase, and paves the way for his return to leadership positions in the region and openness to the world.
In turn, RCD has opened up dialogue and constructive discussions, while most of the attendees questions were focused on the credibility of the national reconciliation projects currently under way and the role that academic and religious institutions must play in developing these projects and promoting the building of a just civil State.
