A delegation of Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue RCD met with the Deputy Foreign Minister of France, Mr. Jerome Bonafon, in his office in Paris in presence of Iraqi Ambassador to France, Dr. Ismail Shafiq and a group of personalities concerned with Middle East affairs. They discussed the development of Iraqi-French relations and the importance of opening new channels in cultural and commercial contacts between the two countries. They also discussed the importance of the role of the Republic of France in arming the Iraqi forces, which fighting ISIS on behalf of the rest of the world. Mr. Bonafon, the current head of the Middle East and North Africa Department, confirmed his happiness to meet with RCD's delegation, stressing the importance of the role played by dialogue in enhancing relations between the two countries.
