During a visit to Najaf city late at night, Mr. Naeem Al-Rubaie, Minister of Communications, visited the headquarters of RCD, accompanied by the ministry's staff. Mr. Al Rubaie was welcomed by Mr. Zaid Al-Talaqani, chairman of RCD and a number of assistants and members.

Al-Talaqani welcomed this visit, which showed the Minister's interest and appreciation for RCD's stature and role. During the  meeting, Al-Talaqani stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation and joint work in the field of communications and information programs, where there will be a special session dealing with the telecommunications sector at RCD Security and Economic Forum, which is expected to be held in September of this year. The Minister confirmed his attendance to the Forum to review this important factor.

Al-Rubaie praised the distinguished and productive efforts of RCD in all fields, especially the scientific ones, exalting the success achieved by "RCD Forum, Baghdad-2019" and its results that may contribute to the development of new mechanisms to solve problems facing the public sector.
