Mr. Zaid Al-Talaqani, and his accompanying delegation met with Sheikh Laith Al-Khazali, the Jihadist associate of Asaib Ahl Al-Haq Movement and Mr. Adnan Faihan, head of Sadiqon parliamentary bloc in his office in Baghdad. Al-Talaqani pointed out that the most important goals of RCD are to develop relations with all government and independent centers and institutions inside and outside Iraq. He also reviewed the latest preparations for holding RCD Forum to be held next September at the Babylon Hotel in the capital Baghdad, and the objectives that it seeks to achieve through this event. The forum is expected to host Iraqi security, economic, regional and global specialists as well as researchers and academics from Arab and international universities, in addition to experts from governmental and international non-governmental organizations. Sheikh Al-Khazali referred to  the importance of communication and efforts to develop the  country to serve the Iraqi people, as well as the great role of RCD in enhancing the democratic experience in Iraq.
