The Chairman of RCD Mr. Zaid Al-Talaqani and members of the RCD met with Mr. Louay Al-Khatib, Minister of Electricity, and Dr. Alaa El-Din Alwan, Minister of Health in Baghdad separately. The meetings came within the framework of communication and strengthening the relationship between RCD and institutions that serve citizens. Al-Talaqani presented RCD's vision on the possibility of setting up a mechanism for coordination and setting joint programs for cooperation, experiences and outcomes of  symposiums held by RCD, pointing out that Iraq needs an active research centers that would be able to provide advice and assessments. The ministers of Health and Electricity expressed their readiness to participate in RCD Forum, which is expected to be held next September. The Forum will be the first of its kind in Iraq and the region with wide international participation. Al-Khatib praised the status and performance of RCD, while Dr. Alwan appreciated its activities and efforts to support the state of institutions, including health, as well as dialogue activities.
