As part of the ongoing preparations for holding RCD Forum in September, the delegation of RCD headed by Mr. Zaid Al-Talaqani, met with a number of official figures as follows:

1- His Eminence Al-Sayyed Radi Al-Husseini, Undersecretary of the Presidency of the Hajj Authority

2 - Mr. Ashraf Al Dahan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Information and Communications Authority

3 - Dr. Ismail Shafiq, head of the Arab States Department in the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs

4- Dr. Hamid Fadhil Al-Tamimi, Rector of Mustansiriya University

5- Mr. Jaafar Al-Mousawi, Chairman of the Higher Committee for Coexistence and Community Peace

6 - Dr. Ihsan Al-Amin, Chairman of the House of Wisdom's Board of Trustees 

The delegation discussed the possibility of opening channels of communication and coordination in several areas of research and dialogue to support the efforts of the State. They also discussed the process of construction, education, service and the common responsibility of all government and independent institutions. Al-Talaqani expressed the readiness of RCD to provide advice based on the discussions of intellectual and academic elites inside and outside Iraq, and also touched on the results achieved by RCD Forum 2019-Baghdad held in February of this year. The meetings  gave a significant moral boost to hold the Forum that specialized in the field of security and energy because of its great importance on the people and the policies of the State and its relations with the international and regional community. The attendees at the meetings confirmed their presence and participation in the next forum.
