Mr. Zaid Al-Talqani, Chairman of RCD, has met with Mr. Khaled Meshaal, the former leader of Hamas Movement. The two sides reviewed the rejection of the deal of the century and the adherence to the right of return and the Israeli withdrawal from the occupied territories, which are the legitimate demands of Palestinian people. Mr. Meshaal said that the people cannot deny their history and past, and the Arabs are concerning with Palestine and its occupied territories through documentation and consolidation of the Arab popular consensus in one direction. The both side also discussed the political situation in the region and the Middle East, and the possibility of strengthening cultural and intellectual initiatives in the Arab region that contribute to the formulation of public opinion on the issues of the nation. Mr. Meshaal considered RCD as one of the important think tanks  in the Arab world, expressing his happiness to meet Mr. Zaid Al-Talaqani, who presented a set of cultural and intellectual outputs for RCD.
