A delegation of RCD headed by Mr. Zaid Al-Talaqani, have met with some senior officials, where they discussed means of supporting the research centers, mutual dialogue, and various issues related to the government performance. Ways to raise the capacity and develop joint programs and the atmosphere of democracy within the framework of the political process were also discussed. The officials were:

1. Mr. Ali Al-Adeeb, Former Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research

2. Mr. Faisal Al-Hmas, Director General of the Trade Bank of Iraq TBI

3. Mr. Ali Nasser Binyan, Director of Nahrain Center for Studies

4-Sheikh Jamal Al-Dari, Head of the Iraqi National Project

Additionally, the delegation discussed various current issues, where the officials assured their presence and participation in RCD Forum due to be held in September this year in Baghdad, and the ways to benefit from its outcomes and visions.
