The delegation of RCD, headed by Mr. Zaid al-Talqani, held a series of meetings with a number of government officials and political leaders, where he met with :

1-Nuri Al-Dulaimi, Minister of Planning

2. Mr. Abdul Amir Al-Hamdani, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities

3. Lieutenant-General Othman Al-Ghanimi, Army Chief of Staff

4-Dr. Hamid Khalaf Ahmed, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research

The meetings focused on the cooperation between the leading research institutions and the need to coordinate with the policy-makers, as they have an important role in  building and enhancing efforts to train the staffs, officials and civil employees.
