Mr. Zaid Al-Talqani, Chairman of RCD, has met with Najah Al-Shammari, Minister of Defense, and Dr. Yassin Taher Al-Yasiri, Minister of Interior, in Baghdad, where a number of issues of mutual interest were discussed. Mr. Talaqani outlined the latest preparations for holding  RCD Security and Economy Forum in Baghdad, that might witness an intensive international and regional presence

He also stressed the importance of Iraq’s role at all political and security levels in the Middle East amidst the escalating events in the region. For their part, the ministers stressed their support for the think tanks that working on providing the institutions with accurate scientific visions, while affirming their participation in RCD Security and Economic Forum that will hold at the end of September in Baghdad.
