Within the program of RCD Forum 2019-Baghdad, in meeting with leaders axis, Sheikh Khamis Al-Khanjar, Secretary-General of the Arab Project in Iraq, has been hosted in a daring dialogue moderated by the journalist, Ghazwan Al-Jassim, and attended by a large number of international observers and those who are interested in the Iraq's affairs. Al-Khanjar said that “I am happy to discuss, here in Baghdad not outside it, the problems facing Iraq and back to it for reform process without our presence, the situation cannot be normal". For the period of his opposition to the political system, Sheikh Al-Khanjar said that “there are many problems in that time, I do not want to talk about the past that may be led to a major conflict”.

"Our vision in the state administration is to develop a complete strategy, restore the trust in the institutions, discuss all problems, make the efforts for the return of IDP, release detainees, and remove military units from the cities," he said. In his response about the dismantling of PMF or merging it, said “We believe that we need to build an integrated security system to prevent the return of terrorism to Iraq, and that everyone today has the responsibility to maintain stability in the country”.

As for the survival of US forces in the liberated areas, Al-Khanjar replied that the matter of the sovereignty of Iraq is very important. I think that Iraq, in spite of the problems that it passed through between 2003 and 2018, it has remained united, that was clearly when the country threatened so that everybody contributed to defend it.

He added that the presence of foreign troops can only be determined by the PM and the Iraqi government, which gives a clear picture of that presence, and we do not have a full perception of the ability of troops in the prevention of the dangers. On the political alliances, he said that we have activities with all blocs, but we concluded that Al-Binaa Coalition is the closest, and our goal is the stability. People should feel the paternity of this country, we have undergone the experience of Al-Qaeda and ISIS and in order to prevent their return, we went with those who participate in the continuation of security.

Also he pointed out that the Ministry of Education is for Arab Project movement in Iraq, so due to the importance of that ministry, as it includes a large amount of students, and our trust in the woman's role in leading the country, we are with a woman nomination for this position. In his  response on the audience questions, Al-Kanjar said :"any disagreement out the law and constitutional frameworks are futility disagreement, and there is difference between the federalization and the divisions, and if there were any danger of that federal why does it exist in the constitutions!", then mentioned that he is against any other sectarian-based region save Kurdistan.

However, RCD sought to be a strong incentive for all political figures by providing a suitable environment for the dialogue, as it believes that the solutions and the ending of the crisis spring from that dialogues and give the trust between the sects representatives to united efforts to face any danger.
