At the session, Mr. Akram Al-Assaf said that the origin of the democratic system is how to provide the best, but in Iraq it is the opposite and because of that the youth reached the stage of frustration and lack of hope. RCD Forum is a purely youthful effort that has encouraged the dialogue under the logo "A dialogue society: A prosperous homeland" which is a proof of the strength of Iraqi youth.
After that, Baligh Abu Kallal said that RCD Forum made a great change on the local level, then added that 90 percent of young people are involved in the political work in order to achieve their ambitions and got money while it is a dander for them .Also, he said that the young people are the essence of the change, whatever the situation was; bad or good, then followed by Dr. Omid Sabah, who said that the role of young people after 2003 was very little, and that the political process, at that time, was formed by those politicians who survived and continued their mission, where it was the main reason to the involvement of youth to the political field to reconstruct the state and the electoral system law as well as the foundation of NGOs, media and social networks.
Dr. Ali Al-Attar tooke his part in the session, saying that it has entered about 3.400.000 young people to the political field after 2003 to 2018, therefore, if we want to make a meaningful change we must invest young people through development centers to maintain a sustainable development, whenever social development is concerned, different aspects are developed. Finally, Ms. Mary Fantapi said that the political leadership does not want to address the representation of the people, there is a crisis of political representation and the regime has failed to connect the people with the leaders, and the elections did not act as a means of linking society with the leadership.
The role of youth was noticeable in the forum activities as it represents the containment of youth capabilities, and its trust in their will to overlapping the crisis, so that it is important to rehabilitate them and guide their trends for what could serve the country and its institutions.
