In the presence of the President Barham Saleh and a large number of ministers and officials and international and regional figures, RCD Forum 2019- Baghdad open its activates in Baghdad, from 3-6 February, where the President of the Republic delivered an important speech appreciated  RCD efforts in supporting dialogues, convergence of views, and strengthen the democratic experience in the country, praising the importance of holding of RCD Forum in Baghdad.

Ms. Kimberly Lee Dozier of the CNN, also participated in the opening session of the forum entitled " Iraq the cornerstone of Stability of the region ", saying: "We have lost a what could assist in the progress and construction, and the military defeat on ISIS is not only for Iraq but also for the region after its liberation from terrorism. Iraq has always been the point of change in the Middle East. There is an opportunity to push Iraq towards stability of the political system that requires real reforms in the new government".

    In response to a question concerning the situation in Mosul, she said that the presence of the Americans in Iraq is coordinated within the legal agreements and that any action outside the agreement is completely unacceptable

His Excellency stressed that Baghdad today plays a major role in the region after the great victory over ISIS, and the establishment of such forums and the presence of local and international figures gives a positive impression that Baghdad is safe and ready to hold all forums.  The President talked  frankly and directly about hoping  that the new government will be able to develop performance,  hoping that the political forces to do all its best in order to reform the government since Iraq's stability represents the region's stability and that can be achieved only by addressing economic and security problems, that resist in the regional system.
