RCD has published a book entitled "The Iraqi Economy after 2003”, which deals with the reality and future strategies of Iraq by Dr. Zane Al-Abidine Mohammed Abdel-Hussein, Professor of Foreign Relations, and Dr. Sadiq Ali Hassan, Professor of International Economic Relations and specialist in the Iraqi economic affairs.

The book studies the conditions of Iraqi economy in terms of the difficulties faced, the potential of treatment, strategies and future plans. It also tackles the future of Iraqi oil revenues as the main pillar of the economy in Iraq from a future perspective with accurate schedules of the Iraqi oil reserves for the period from 2004 to 2014 and oil production for the same period. 

It highlighted the country's budgets after 2003 by analyzing its structure and calculating revenues and local expenditure with graphs of growth rates, tax revenues, percentage of national product, rates of development and deficit, its causes, and the standard relationship between them and oil prices, which is the first incentive for the movement of the economy, like decline and the rate of public, private and foreign investment, the investment from 2006 to 2015, the currency reserve, the decline in the level of the agricultural and industrial sector, and the measurement of the analysis of the impact of public revenues on military and civilian spending and the crisis with Kurdistan.

  The authors presented seven chapters of the book, which was published by RCD , that include a study of the plans that must be adopted by political and economic decision makers to improve performance and the mechanism of rationalization of government support. The strategic planning of the Iraqi economy and the policy of raising government support and treatment methods through planning progress.  The study of the impact of the phenomenon of terrorism on the economy and the standards and characteristics of the appropriate model for Iraq and the development of a comprehensive strategic plan for planning by the successful management for the economy of Iraq. The book stressed the integrated and concise approach and an accurate analysis of all axes and economic activities in Iraq.
