RCD held a dialogue session, in which ambassador Lukman Al-Fili, Head of America Department at the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, delivered a lecture in the presence of specialists in the political and international field, alongside a group of researchers and followers.

The attendees discussed the challenges and opportunities in Iraq’s international relations, through which they reviewed Iraq’s reality, affecting and being affected by the external regional and international environment. In return, there was a discussion about how the external environment affects the Iraqi reality, considering several changes on Iraqi internal level (decision makers, security situation, human side, fighting corruption) and on the regional and international level of Iraq’s relations with regional and international powers, and with the regional and international organizations.

The attendees discussed, through their interventions and questions, several topics related to Iraq’s foreign relations. They expressed several remarks about the general lines of foreign policies in the dialogue session that lasted for three hours at Al-Salam hall in RCD’s headquarters in the holy city of Najaf.
