This week, we start by talking about the promised victory as the War Media Cell confirmed the consecutive victories and the near end of the war against terrorism. In addition, emphasis was placed on preventing any legislation that abuses the democratic system and leads to consolidating dictatorship of political blocs and parties. Moreover, a reference was made to the risk of manipulating the infrastructures of the Iraqi State, because of the ignorance and the widespread corruption, as most Iraqi ministries after 2003 do not work based on the ministry’s policy but in accordance with the Minister’s personal policy.

Furthermore, the concept of urbanism was introduced for being the only solution to the Iraqi situation. In contrast, some people replied that the civil state would stay lame due to its religious and tribal overlapping spaces. Also, a reference was made to the previous political mistakes whose effects are still being felt today, and among the consequences of those mistakes are the poverty levels resulted from the failure and corruption of the policy. In addition, attention was brought to some media programs and their cultural negative effect on the Iraqi family, with emphasis on the role of women in nation-building, as educating the women has a huge impact on reducing the wildness of tribal communities and the unhealthy habits.

Conclusions:

·         The lack of strategic policies of Iraqi ministries, as changing the minister is followed by changing the personnel, projects and work plans, and sometimes it gets to the point of suspending some ongoing and incomplete programs.

·         The lack of Iraqi channels and media directed to protect the intellectual and cultural aspect of the Iraqi society, which made the Iraqi society an easy market to the other channels.

·         There is a significant decline in women’s participation in societal and cultural activities, which disrupt a great energy within the Iraqi society who is desperately in need of this energy now.

Recommendations:

·         There must be a long-term strategic plan implemented with high elasticity yet prevents deviating from the overall orientation of the ministry’s work.

·         The Iraqi government must preserve the values and culture of Iraqi society and protect them from the counter cultures, not by banning them but rather by providing a convincing substitute.

·         Empowerment of women for their effective contribution in building a civilized society and their huge impact on that.
