Weekly Dialogue Summery – 85th Week
Others expressed their opinion in the new government saying that it has committed the same mistakes of the formation of the former governments. To confirm the opinion saying that its life expectancy is short, some expressed that the new government is “exposed”, and as a result, it will born dead and will not stand for more than few months at most. The interlocutors pointed out that the quota appears frankly in the new government, and it seeks the technocrat while it is without technocrat.
Conclusions:
· There is variety of the candidates’ disciplines within the new cabinet of the ministries to which they were nominated, and there is no excuse to this, as Iraq has a high academic diversity in all disciplines.
· The problem is not in formulating the sustainable government’s program that expresses the welfare of the Iraqi people, but in the process of implementing that program.
· Some emphasize the involvement of some names of the new ministerial cabinet in corruption, which contradicts completely with the slogans of fighting corruption, the biggest scourge in Iraq.
· There is a will, which seems light, taking hold on Iraq in order to destroy or subdue it to regional purposes aiming at breaking the will of the Iraqi people.
Recommendations:
· It is self-evident that the minister’s discipline must match the ministry he \ she is in charge with. Moreover, he \ she must have a long experience in that discipline.
· One of the government’s duties is to provide an accepted level of welfare to its people, which is achieved through developing effective development programs that can be implemented on the ground.
· The process of nominating and choosing the ministers is identical to the transparent criterion, and they must be chosen out of those who are beyond any suspicion, especially regarding the terrorism and corruption.
· All those in power and everybody who carries the Iraqi nationality must stand a conclusive position towards all the bodies working to harm Iraq, and they must raise Iraq’s logo first.
