A Condolence statement of Mr. Talabani's Death
In the name of Allah the Merciful, the Compassionate
[he] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving. - Surat al-Mulk (2)
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth
On October 3, 2017, Iraq lost a national and political figure who was a symbol of jihad and sacrifice that faced injustice and dictatorship, an icon that has always been referred to his moderation, temperance and revelational stances, the Former President of the Republic of Iraq Mr. Jalal Talabani.
While we mourn the Iraqi people as Arabs and Kurds, particularly the family and relatives of the deceased, we mourn all Iraqi political circles for losing one of its most important figures who have given so much to the new Iraq with its jihadist history, national sense, local and global acceptability, where the late President of the Republic of Iraq worked to confront the former Baath regime and criminalize its arbitrary actions against Iraqi peopl, as well as to build and consolidate the democratic experience, unite the Iraqi ranks and preserve national principles. The deceased was known for his magnanimousness, his love for Iraqi culture and his care for human rights.
As we witness today a historic turn in the new Iraq, it is important to recall the normal approach and moderate way of thinking that Mr. Talabani followed in his political approach, where everyone testifies to his continued quest for the stability of the country, maintaining the constitution and overcoming many of the problems that have hit the country. Former President Jalal Talabani has left us with a will to take care of Iraq, renounce differences, to stay loyal to the country, open ways for dialogue to reach the postulates of things, and cohesion among the Iraqi people in all its spectrums and components, to achieve the unity of Iraq and the well-being of its people. May God bless Mr. Talabani, who represented the sovereignty of Iraq for many years.
to Allah we belong and to him is our return.
