RCD published a study titled “Covid-19 Scenarios in Iraq: Spread, Vaccine, ending curfew” prepared by Dr. Hassan Lateef Al Zubaidi, Head of RCD, Dr. Zina Akram Abdullatif, and Dr. Zaid Tariq Hussain, central statistical organization

The study showed that Iraq is experiencing unpreceded crisis caused serious economic and social consequences during covid-19 pandemic. It tackled the stages of spreading it in Iraq, and the measurements the government took to control it, and the economic implications on the public life in the country. 

The study covered the sceneries of Covid-19 spread, the risks of collapsing health system and providing vaccine, and some options to deal with its spread implications.  

This study derived from RCD program of preparing researches and sponsoring development programs with group of experts from different scientific fields in order to bringing ideas to maturity that adopted practical solutions for issues related to Iraqi realty.
