COVID-19 Scenarios in Iraq: Outbreak – Vaccination – Ending Lockdown
Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue RCD publishes a study on COVID-19 in Iraq titled “COVID-19 Scenarios in Iraq: Outbreak - Vaccine - Ending the Closure” prepared by Dr. Hassan Latif Kazem Al-Zubaidi, the Executive Director of RCD, Dr. Zeina Akram Abdul Latifand Ziyad Tariq Hussein of the Statistical Center Organization.
The study focused on the fact that Iraq is experiencing an unprecedented crisis that has caused serious economic and social repercussions, due to the outbreak of COVID-19, and dealt with developments in the spread of the pandemic in Iraq, government measures to confront it, and direct economic consequences on public life in the country.
The study covered the scenarios of the outbreak, the risks of the health system collapse, the provision of anti-virus vaccines, and some options for dealing with the repercussions and effects of its outbreak.
The study comes within the program of RCD in carrying out research and sponsoring development programs with a group of experts in various scientific fields to bringing the ideas to maturity that adopt practical solutions to developments related to Iraq affaires.
