Within the activities of the expanded conference to review the development agenda towards a recovery plan responsive to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic that held by the Ministry of Planning, with the support of the United Nations Development Program in Baghdad, Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, the Executive Director of Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue RCD gave a research presentation in which he addressed the reality of education in Iraq under Covid-19 pandemic.


Dr. Hassan Al-Zubaidi indicated that higher education in Iraq suffers from the problem of incompatibility between the developmental requirements of work force and the number and quality of graduates. Al-Zubaidi added that there is a gap between the theoretical and practical steps that taken by higher education and the work and studies that society expects to be in the public interest and contribute to modifying tracks, especially for state agencies and service institutions.  
 
It is reported that Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue RCD, and through its research departments and its advisory body, prepared a number of studies and research that were published on most of the specialized websites, and in a sequential manner. They dealt with a future vision and an accurate diagnosis of reality in various fields, especially those related to the financial situation and the impact of Covid-19 pandemic on the Iraqi economy and other fields.
