A delegation from the Rafidain Center for Dialogue RCD, headed by Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, Executive Director of RCD, and Dr. Ahmed Sami Al-Mammouri, Head of the Research and Development Department, attended a special expanded meeting with Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, a group of ministers, professors, and political analysts from all over Iraq, at the government palace in Baghdad to discuss the latest situation and developments in the Iraqi arena.

In the three-hour session, the Prime Minister stated that we are looking forward to resolving crises with hope and confidence at the beginning of our new year. The adversities have passed, and we only need cohesion and unity among the Iraqi people, recalling the difficulties of the past year, and the repercussions of the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in Iraq and the world. He added that we have achieved successes on the field and in foreign relations, also we have set a date for early elections that the people demanded, and we are looking forward to forming the Federal Court in cooperation with other authorities.

Al-Kazemi said that we presented a budget that fits with the white paper reforms, stressing that it is the last chance for renaissance after a delay of 17 years, and that 2021 will be the year of Iraqi achievement quickly and efficiently, expressing his rejection of all political point scoring at the expense of Iraq's interest.
