The symposium followed by a press conference attended by Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, Executive Director of RCD, who in turn welcomed this visit, hoping to be another starting point towards distinguished relations, the exchange of cultural experiences, and the strengthening of relations in the fields of science and strategic research. While the ambassador pointed to the importance of Mr. Al-Kazemi’s recent visit to Britain and its role in activating British support for Iraq. He also explained British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s intention to support Iraq by recognizing Britain’s historical responsibility in supporting Iraq as a government and people, and Britain’s endeavor to mediate between Iraq and the International Monetary Fund out of the economic crisis.
