Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue RCD concluded a joint cooperation agreement with the National Commission for the Revival of the Heritage of the Allama Sayed Muhsin Al-Amin in the Syrian Arab Republic. The agreement aims to create an environment for constructive democratic dialogue between the two parties, not to adopt any sectarian, ethnic, racial or regional trends, and to develop scientific research in all that serves the two brotherly countries.

The agreement stipulated strengthening cooperation in the research, scientific, cultural and development fields, with the exchange of visits by specialists between the two sides, emphasizing support for efforts to combat terrorism, extremism and financial corruption, and strengthening the culture of the rule of law through the establishment of relevant studies.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, Executive Director of RCD, with Dr. Hussein Ragheb Al-Hussein, Chairman of the National Commission for the Revival of the Heritage of the Allama Sayed Mohsen Al-Amin, Member of the Syrian Parliament, and Chairman of the Iraqi-Syrian Friendship Committee at the headquarters of RCD in Najaf, with a memorandum of joint cooperation in order to start implementing the agreed initiatives.
