An online seminar was held via (ZOOM) platform entitled: “Toward New Concepts in Promoting Peaceful Coexistence in Iraq”, sponsored by the University of Al-Hamdaniya along with the participation of Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue RCD, in presence of many interested social and academic figures.

During his speech in the seminar, Dr. Aqeel Al-Araji, the president of the University, stressed the necessity of cooperation among scientific and intellectual institutions, as it is important for establishing the value of coexistence. In addition, he confirmed the possibility of cooperating between the University of Al-Hamdaniya and RCD.
From his part, Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, the Executive Director of RCD, pointed out to the importance of peaceful coexistence for its power in building the trust and sustainable cooperation, and as it is necessary in consolidating the value of citizenship and developing the social capital as well.     
While Dr. Miqdham Al-Fayadh, the Director of Research and Development dept. of RCD, delivered a lecture tackled the importance of consolidating the essence of citizenship and to enforce law as they are the main pillar to protect the peaceful coexistence, showing the most prominent structural problems that appeared in Iraq post-2003. Finally, Dr. Al-Fayadh concluded the need to apply the law to prevent whoever try to abuse the national unity.
