Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue RCD published its first translation of the English essay entitled: “Water Shortage in Iraq's Kurdistan Region: Problems with Iran and Possible Solutions” by Salam Abdulrahman  Abdulqadir; and translated by Ahmed Wahab Tais, to be within a new series of selected scientific researches.
The essay discussed the water shortage in Kurdistan Region; in which the springs of revers that feed the Region in Iran were drought due to the climate change, and Iran’s recent irrigation projects and its actions on the shared revers.
The author tackled the sever surface water shortage that Iraq faces, desertification, and low rate of groundwater, and its implications on the agricultural and economical status of Iraq, as well as many programs and proposed plans to overcome water crisis.
