A delegation of RCD chaired by Mr. Hasan Latif Al-Zubaidi, the Executive Director of RCD; and Dr. Ahmed Sami Al-Mammouri, Head of Research and Development Department of RCD, attends a special extensive meeting with Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, a number of Ministers, Professors and Political analysts from all over Iraq at the Government Palace in Baghdad, to discuss the latest events in Iraq.

The Prime Minister mentioned at the session that lasted for three hours, “We are looking forward to resolving crises with hope and confidence at the beginning of our new year. The adversities have passed, and we only need cohesion and unity among the Iraqi people, recalling the difficulties of the past year, and the repercussions of the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in Iraq and the world”. He added that we have achieved successes on the security and foreign relations field, also we have set a date for early elections that the people demanded, and we are looking forward to forming the Federal Court in cooperation with other authorities.

Al-Kadhimi said that we presented a budget fits with the reforms of the White Paper, stressing that it is the last chance for renaissance after a delay of 17 years, and that 2021 will be the year of Iraqi achievement quickly and efficiently, expressing his rejection of all political point scoring at the expense of Iraq's interest
