Al-Rafdain Center for Dialogue (RCD) held a dialogue session titled "The Health System in Iraq: Legislative Proposals and Executive Challenges." The event hosted Dr. Thanaa al-Zajrawi, a member of the Health and Environment Committee in the Council of Representatives. The session, moderated by Dr. Bushra al-Sunbuli, a member of the Center's Board of Advisors, took place at the Al-Salam Hall in the Center's headquarters in Najaf and was attended by a diverse audience, particularly from the health sector. The discussion addressed the reality of the health system in Iraq and the challenges it faces, while also proposing legislative suggestions to improve health services.

The session discussed weaknesses in the health infrastructure, a shortage of qualified medical personnel, and the low quality of services provided to citizens. It also addressed the challenges that hinder the implementation of health policies, including administrative corruption, inadequate funding, and the lack of effective strategic planning.

This session falls within the context of a series of meetings held by Al-Rafdain Center for Dialogue in various fields, particularly those that directly impact the lives of citizens.
