Under the patronage of Al-Hamdaniya University and with the participation of Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD), a virtual seminar was held on ZOOM titled "Towards New Concepts in Promoting Peaceful Coexistence in Iraq." The event was attended by numerous interested social and academic figures.

Dr. Aqil al-Araji, President of Al-Hamdaniya University, focused in his address on the importance of cooperation between scientific and intellectual institutions as a necessity for establishing the values of coexistence. He also highlighted the potential for collaboration between Al-Hamdaniya University and Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue.

Meanwhile, Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, Executive Director of Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue, pointed to the importance of peaceful coexistence and its capacity for sustainable building and cooperation. He described it as a necessity for entrenching the values of citizenship and developing social capital.

Professor Dr. Miqdam al-Fayyadh, Director of the Research and Development Department at the Center, delivered a lecture in which he addressed the importance of entrenching the spirit of citizenship and enforcing the rule of law as the two fundamental pillars for preserving peaceful coexistence. He reviewed the most prominent structural problems that have appeared in Iraq since 2003. Dr. al-Fayyadh concluded by stressing the necessity of strictly applying the law to deter anyone who attempts to harm national cohesion.
