Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD) has issued a new book entitled Lectures on Iraqi Affairs, which presents the visions and perspectives of a distinguished group of Iraqi experts and decision-makers. The content originates from a series of audio lectures that have been meticulously transcribed to serve as written records for researchers, readers, and observers. A defining feature of the collection is that its contributors are leading specialists, many of whom hold governmental positions that afford them a comprehensive basis for their analyses and viewpoints. The book represents a distillation of the ideas and conceptions of figures from diverse intellectual and political backgrounds, addressing the most significant issues that have emerged on the Iraqi stage over the past four years. In terms of its significance, the volume stands at the forefront of the Center's publications, owing to the uniqueness and novelty of the experience it embodies, as well as the vast array of political, economic, and social trajectories it encompasses. It convenes prominent thinkers and experts to present the essence of their experiences and the core of their analyses.

Furthermore, this book is published in the context of encouraging scientific research and inquiry. It serves as a living testament to the fact that the scholarly oral debate facilitated by the Center's electronic forums provides a substantive foundation for formulating profound ideas. Such ideas, in turn, can help decision-makers to identify the most effective courses of action. This endeavor directly aligns with the Center's overarching objectives of achieving peaceful coexistence and strengthening the democratic system.
