The Translation Division of the Research and Development Department at Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD) has completed the translation and publication of a new book entitled An Introduction to Political Philosophy. This work is part of a series of publications that the Center has sponsored since its inception, contributing to the dissemination of modern, advanced ideas and supporting intellectual and cultural dynamism within society.

The book is authored by the American philosopher Jason Brennan, who holds a doctorate from the University of Arizona. The Arabic translation was undertaken by Mr. Ali Al-Haris under the editorial supervision and review of Dr. Hasan Nadhem.

In this significant work, the author endeavors to elucidate the core concepts of political philosophy. The text explores quintessential values, the sources of political disagreement, the problem of justice, and the nature of rights and liberty. Furthermore, it delves into civil rights and modes of living. Brennan presents numerous theories within the philosophy of life, examining their practical application in our societies, which are characterized by diverse scientific and economic strata. He also conducts a comparative analysis of theories attributed to renowned researchers and specialists in the fields of human sciences, modern philosophy, and psychology, assessing their impact on the human condition. The book is regarded as a major contribution to the field of political philosophy.
