As part of its ongoing commitment to scholarly dissemination, Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD) has commenced the publication and distribution of a new volume entitled The Philosophy of Inter-relational Frameworks for Legal Ethics.

Authored by Dr. Iyad Mutashar Farhood, the work provides a critical legal analysis situated within the context of contemporary reality and the "post-secular" world.

The book delves into the complex intersection of theology, philosophy, and jurisprudence, focusing on several pivotal areas:

·        Comparative Religious Law: An examination of inter-relational frameworks within comparative Christian law and the Islamic perspective on the legal philosophy of religion.

·        Post-Secular Jurisprudence: An analysis of how modern societies understand law in a post-secular context, exploring the evolution of legal origins as they shifted from religious foundations to secular frameworks.

·        State Formation: A look at the foundational role of religion in the establishment of the state and the subsequent development of legal systems.

·        Private International Law: An investigation into the specific relationship between private international law and religious dictates.

The publication of this study aligns with RCD’s strategic plan to address fundamental issues related to state-building and institutional development. By providing a platform for critical intellectual and scientific discourse, the Center aims to offer timely insights that can be utilized in the advancement of legal and civil frameworks.
