Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD) announces the release of a new book titled Contemporary Iraqi Problems, authored by Dr. Waleed Abdul-Jabr Al-Khafaji.

This publication represents a collection of five field-based social studies that examine various facets of social evolution and crisis within Iraq.

The book addresses five critical dimensions of the current Iraqi social landscape:

1.     Cultural Diversity & Development: Managing diversity and sustaining development in transitional societies.

2.     Displacement: The challenges of internal displacement and the concept of "human security."

3.     Youth Crises: The specific struggles faced by youth in conflict zones.

4.     Education: Structural problems within the educational process.

5.     Unemployment: Analysis of labor market failures.

Across its five chapters, the book does not merely diagnose the deep-seated problems of Iraqi society; it provides a structural framework for understanding them. Dr. Al-Khafaji offers specific definitions, draws data-driven conclusions, and presents a set of practical proposals and remedies to address these societal ailments.
