Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD) has announced the release of a comprehensive new book titled Parliamentary Elections in Iraq 2025: Dynamics of Presence and Influence and Forecasting Future Paths.

This publication offers a strategic reading of the political, legal, social, and financial transformations shaping the Iraqi electoral landscape leading up to the upcoming vote.

The book delves into the nature of political alliances and their shifts, mobilization rhetoric, and the principle of equal opportunity in campaigning from a comparative legal perspective. It highlights:

·        Emerging Actors: The role of new parties and protest movements in redrawing the electoral map.

·        Demographics: The representation of religious and ethnic minorities.

·        Economic Drivers: The impact of economic variables—specifically poverty and unemployment—on shaping voter behavior.

The study also examines the legal oversight mechanisms of the electoral process and the profound impact of digital media and electronic campaigns on public opinion. It concludes by forecasting future scenarios for the political situation in Iraq.

A key feature of this book is its reliance on scientific analysis supported by the results of a field survey conducted by the Center regarding participation trends for the elections scheduled for November 2025.

This publication underscores RCD's ongoing effort to print and distribute high-quality research, studies, translations, and articles. The Center aims to support decision-making institutions and the scientific, intellectual, and cultural development of the country with professionalism and accuracy.
