These agreements, ratified following official approvals from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, aim to foster a robust environment for academic exchange and joint scientific projects.

The memorandums were signed by Prof. Dr. Asaad Kadhim Shabib, Executive Director of RCD, alongside the heads of the respective institutions:

·        Prof. Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University.

·        Prof. Dr. Alaa Naji Al-Mawla, President of the University of Kufa.

The ceremony was attended by a high-level delegation including Prof. Dr. Mohammed Baqir Fakhr Al-Din and senior RCD staff members.

Valid for a renewable period of five years, the agreements establish joint bilateral committees to oversee implementation in several key areas:

·        Joint Research: Developing collaborative research programs and supporting scientific inquiries that address national issues.

·        Academic Events: Organizing specialized seminars, conferences, and workshops to facilitate knowledge transfer.

·        Publications: Printing and distributing distinguished master's theses and doctoral dissertations to a wider audience.

RCD emphasizes that these partnerships are part of a broader strategy to integrate the Center’s work with Iraq’s prestigious academic institutions. By bridging the gap between think tanks and universities, RCD aims to produce rigorous scientific output that serves both the state and society.
