Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD) has signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Iraqi Defense Industries Commission (DIC), affiliated with the Prime Minister's Office, during an official ceremony held at the Commission’s headquarters in Baghdad.

Supervised and attended by the Head of the Commission, Engineer Haider Talib Saeed, the agreement was signed by:

·        Prof. Dr. Asaad Kadhim Shabib, Executive Director of RCD.

·        Engineer Sadiq Jassim, Director General of the Research and Development Department at the Commission.

The delegation also included Dr. Ahmed Abbas, Director of the RCD Baghdad Branch, and Mr. Jassim Al-Qabji, Director of Protocol and Public Relations at the Center.

The agreement aims to bolster cooperation in several key areas:

·        Exchange of Expertise: Sharing knowledge and technical know-how.

·        Research & Studies: Collaborating on academic and strategic research projects.

·        Institutional Development: Contributing to the performance improvement of official institutions.

·        Public Policy: Assisting in the formulation of policies that strengthen state institutions and research centers.

This collaboration serves as a continuation of dozens of memoranda of understanding previously concluded by RCD with official and academic institutions, both locally and internationally. It frames RCD's ongoing efforts to support development and public policy in Iraq.
