Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD), represented by its Executive Director, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, participated in a consultative session regarding the preparation of the National Human Development Report. The session was organized by the Iraqi Ministry of Planning in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

During the session, which was held at the Gilgamesh Hall at the Babylon Rotana Hotel, Dr. Al-Zubaidi delivered a presentation on his research paper entitled "The Objectives of Preparing Human Development Reports: Between International Methodology and National Orientations."

This event marked the launch of the national consultations in Baghdad for the preparation of the Human Development Report, which will center on the themes of citizenship and the social contract. The session was attended by officials, civil society, and academic representatives for a dialogue concerning issues of sustainable human development. Notable attendees included the Resident Representative of the UNDP in Iraq, Mr. Auke Lootsma, along with numerous government officials and representatives from prominent non-governmental organizations.
