The Indonesian ambassador to Iraq visits Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD) in Baghdad

Mr Zaid Al-Talqani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD), received in Baghdad the Ambassador Extraordinary of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr Elmar Iwan Lubis, who was accompanied by Mr Heru Santoso, Head of Protocol and Consular Affairs. The two sides emphasised the importance of expanding cooperation opportunities between research centres and strategic studies.
The meeting discussed ways to support joint cultural and scientific projects between the two nations in the academic fields, development programs, and exchanges of visits, to improve the scientific and research process in Iraq. The meeting covered Iraq's most recent political developments and the surrounding area.
Mr Iwan Lopes expressed his admiration and appreciation for the activities of Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD) and the successes it achieves through its international events and forums, as well as his desire to increase coordination between the centre and institutions of common interest in Indonesia.
