Mr Zaid Al-Talqani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Rafidain Centre for Dialogue (RCD), received a delegation from the European Institute of Peace (EIP) at the centre’s headquarters in Baghdad. The meeting was organized by Al-Rafidain Centre for Dialogue (RCD), Dr Falah Jawad Kazem, director of the centre’s Baghdad branch, and Mr Muhammad al-Bayati, the centre’s advisor for program affairs.

The meeting discussed the program of the (Gulf Regional Dialogue) initiative, which has the support of the governments in Iraq, Iran, and the six member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (Saudi Arabia - Qatar - UAE - Bahrain - Oman - Kuwait), as delegations and personalities representing these countries will meet to discuss confidence-building measures in an unfair environment official, to create space for other dialogue on topics that officials do not discuss in their official capacities.

Mr Keating expressed his admiration and appreciation for the centre’s activities. At the same time, Mr Al-Talqani outlined his vision to advance the initiative's work in a manner commensurate with the possibility of its implementation and to strengthen its implementation mechanisms over the next three years. Through its international events and forums, the organization has achieved success.
