Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD) Hosts the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Iraq

The session addressed a number of general subjects pertaining to the Iraqi, regional, and international political landscape. Discussions also covered the prospects for Iraqi-Dutch relations and pathways for their enhancement, as well as the status of the Netherlands' role in investment and development. For his part, the Chargé d'Affaires elaborated on a range of objectives concerning the bilateral relationship, particularly in terms of supporting and advancing the democratic system in Iraq.
Furthermore, the Deputy Executive Director and the senior staff of the Center addressed several key issues, most notably the mechanisms for developing Iraqi-Dutch relations. They also explored the relationship between think tanks and research centers in Iraq and the avenues for cooperation with counterpart institutions for thought, research, and strategic studies in the Netherlands.
His Excellency the Chargé d'Affaires expressed his distinct pleasure to be at Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD). He affirmed his desire to cultivate the relationship in scientific and research domains and to facilitate the exchange of expertise and visits with relevant institutions. In doing so, he commended the Center's distinguished standing and praised its activities and intellectual contributions at all levels.

Such meetings are integral to the Center's scientific and research activities and its mission to deliberate on the most significant political issues and matters of public affairs.
