A delegation from Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD), led by Professor Dr. Ahmed Sami Al-Mamouri, Deputy Executive Director of the Center, undertook a formal visit to Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University. The delegation also comprised Professor Dr. Miqdam Abd al-Hassan Al-Fayyadh, Director of the Research and Development Department, and Professor Dr. Asaad Kadhim Shabib, Director of the Administrative Affairs Department.

The RCD representatives were officially received by Professor Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, and Professor Dr. Muhammad Abd al-Muhsin Al-Majtoumi, Assistant to the University President for Administrative Affairs.

During the meeting, the two parties explored prospects for joint cooperation in scientific and research fields. The RCD delegation presented an overview of the Center's activities, including its scientific research initiatives, international forums, and periodic dialogue sessions. Pursuant to the approval granted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to conclude scientific agreements with the Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue, a draft Memorandum of Understanding was presented. The memorandum aims to formalize joint scientific and research collaboration between the Center and the University and to sustain continuous engagement with the University's senior staff, recognizing its diverse specializations and its significant presence across five Iraqi governorates.

This visit is consistent with the periodic outreach conducted by representatives of Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD) to prominent political, diplomatic, academic, and cultural figures, as well as to significant research centers and institutes. These engagements are an integral component of the Center's scientific and research activities and its endeavor to deliberate upon the most pressing scientific, political, economic, social, cultural, and diplomatic issues.
