A delegation from Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD), led by the Center's Executive Director, Dr. Jawad Kadhim Smesim, has met with the President of the University of Kufa, Professor Dr. Yassir Al-Akaili, along with a number of professors and academics at the university. Accompanying Dr. Smesim on the visit were Dr. Asaad Shabib, Head of the Board of Advisors; Dr. Miqdam Abd al-Hassan Al-Fayyadh, Director of the Research and Development Department; and Mr. Ahmed Al-Moussawi, Director of the Administrative Affairs Department.

The visit included a discussion of cultural and educational initiatives that could be jointly implemented to enhance intellectual and scientific dialogue among various scientific elites and segments of society. Both parties underscored the importance of activating the role of academic institutions and research centers in advancing intellectual discourse and promoting mutual understanding.

This engagement is part of a series of visits organized by Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue to various Iraqi universities, with the objective of building strategic partnerships that contribute to the advancement of higher education and scientific research in Iraq.
