As part of an official visit to the city of Shanghai in the People's Republic of China, a delegation from Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD), accompanied by representatives from other Iraqi research centers, convened with the China-Arab Research Center on Reform and Development. The RCD delegation included Dr. Asaad Kadhim Shabib, the Center's Executive Director, and Mr. Wissam Al-Ghazi, Director of the Media Office.

The parties discussed prospects for joint cooperation between think tanks and research institutions in Iraq, foremost among them Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue, and their counterparts in China, including the China-Arab Research Center on Reform and Development. The dialogue focused on the endeavor to establish research partnerships across various domains, with a particular emphasis on the study of successful developmental experiences and the methods for their practical application.

Furthermore, before an audience of senior staff from the China-Arab Research Center on Reform and Development and several research directors from Iraq, the Executive Director presented an overview of RCD's accomplishments over the past several years and outlined the strategic vision for their continued advancement in the coming phases.

This visit is situated within the framework of cooperation between leading research centers in Iraq and China. It aims to facilitate the exchange of expertise and enhance collaborative prospects in a manner that serves the developmental objectives and fulfills the roles assigned to research centers and think tanks in Iraq.
