Chairman of RCD Receives a Letter of Acknowledgment from the Ambassador of the Netherlands Kingdom to Iraq
Mr. Zaid Al-Talaqani received a letter of acknowledgment by the ambassador of the Netherlands Kingdom, Mr. Matthijs Wolteds. The ambassador expressed his appreciation for the good hospitality of RCD and its great efforts to establish the principles of dialogue as a basis for understanding and gathering specialized elites, finding solutions and unifying visions on various issues. He affirmed that Netherlands is ready to consolidate the cooperation between scientific research centers in Iraq and Netherlands.

Chairman of RCD Receives a Letter of Acknowledgment from the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI)
RCD received a letter of Acknowledgment from Ms. Alice Wollpoll, Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Iraq, for RCD efforts in supporting and sustaining the democratic process in Iraq.
In her letter to Mr. Zaid Al-Talaqani, Chairman of RCD, Ms. Wollpoll expressed her thanks to the Center for hosting her in a seminar on the role of (UNAMI) in supporting the democratic experience, stressing her admiration for the level of dialogues provided by the members during the session.

UN Mission in Iraq UNAMI: Democracy in Iraq between Success and Challenges
To consolidate the principles of democracy and overcome the challenges in the country, RCD held a symposium at its headquarters in Najaf in Dec 4, 2018 attended by Ms. Alice Walpole, Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, and Mr. Mohammed Al-Najjar, the Senior Advisor to the Political Affairs in the United Nations, in presence of a number of government figures from the executive and legislative bodies and academics, intellectuals, activists of civilians and clerics.

RCD Forum 2019 - Baghdad to be hold from 3-5 February 2019
The Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) and Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue RCD have signed a cooperation agreement to organize RCD Forum 2019-Baghdad, to be held at Al Rasheed Hotel for the period from 3-5 February.
RCD Forum 2019-Baghdad, the first of its kind to be held in Baghdad, will attended by senior Iraqi government officials, regional and international officials and members of parliament, as well as scientists and researchers from major research centers and universities inside and outside Iraq.
