Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD), in the margins of holding RCD Forum 2019 - Baghdad, held a specialized workshop in the field of Iraqi police development, attended by a group of academics specialized in this field, in addition to the officials of this corps in official state apparatus.

Among the events of RCD Forum 2019 – Baghdad, the specialized workshop of domestic violence has been held, entitled “Legislative Reform Workshop in Iraq: Anti-Domestic Violence Law and Social Protection Policy”, sponsored by “MADRE” Institution for women rights.

Among the events of RCD 2019 – Baghdad, the higher education reform workshop has been held to addressing the most important foundations that should be followed in order to advance the reality of this significant issue. The attendees have pointed out to the lack of coordination between Ministry of Education and Ministry of Higher Education, inviting for convening National Education Coordination Council by the two ministries.

Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (R.C.D), among the events of RCD Forum 2019 – Baghdad, has held the Climate Change Workshop, which is one of the serious issues in Iraq after ISIS threat. In this regard, the experts participating in this workshop have pointed out to the serious threat of the Turkish “Ilisu” dam to Iraq’s water security, which could lead to serious effects, such as desertification, drought and destruction of farmland.
