Mr Zaid Al-Talqani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD), met with Mr Maurizio Greganti, Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to Iraq, at the Center's headquarters in Baghdad.

The meeting focused on the most significant challenges and problems Iraq will face in the next phase, as well as ways to cooperate with the Dutch embassy to support the Iraqi people and strengthen cooperation frameworks between the two countries in a manner that improves the economic and social situation. Expert knowledge was shared, and working partnerships with Dutch research centres were discussed at the meeting. His Eminence, the Ambassador, expressed his admiration for Al-Rafidain Centre’s efforts to establish projects and partnerships with reputable international institutions and its successes. He also expressed his willingness to assist Al-Rafidain Center in establishing new avenues of cooperation with the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Mr Zaid Al-Talqani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD), met with the Ambassador of the State of Japan, Mr Matsumoto Hotoshi, and the Embassy's Secretary for Political Affairs, Mr Kida Ryuji, at the Center's Baghdad branch.

Mr Zaid Al-Talqani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD), received the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Mr Ahmed Amjad Ali, in the presence of Mr Turhan Al-Mufti, Advisor to the Speaker of Parliament and a member of the Board of Directors of the Center, and Mr Muhammad Al-Bayati, Advisor for Programs and Projects Affairs at the Center. The discussion at the meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between research centres and strategic studies.

Mr Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani received Mr Zaid Al-Talqani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD), at the government palace in Baghdad’s capital.

Mr Zaid Al-Talqani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD), received in Baghdad the Ambassador Extraordinary of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr Elmar Iwan Lubis, who was accompanied by Mr Heru Santoso, Head of Protocol and Consular Affairs. The two sides emphasised the importance of expanding cooperation opportunities between research centres and strategic studies.

Dr Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, President of the Republic of Iraq, received Mr Zaid Al-Talqani, Chairman of Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD), at the Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad.
