A delegation from Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD), led by the Center's Executive Director, Professor Dr. Jawad Kadhim Smesim, has met with Mr. Mardan Al-Budairi, Director General of the Directorate of Education of Najaf Governorate. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Haider Tariq Shamkhi, a member of the Parliamentary Education Committee in the Iraqi Council of Representatives, and the senior staff of the Directorate. This visit was held within the framework of discussing significant educational issues and exchanging perspectives on improving the standard of education within the governorate.

A delegation from Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD), led by the Center's Executive Director, Dr. Jawad Kadhim Smesim, has met with the President of the University of Kufa, Professor Dr. Yassir Al-Akaili, along with a number of professors and academics at the university. Accompanying Dr. Smesim on the visit were Dr. Asaad Shabib, Head of the Board of Advisors; Dr. Miqdam Abd al-Hassan Al-Fayyadh, Director of the Research and Development Department; and Mr. Ahmed Al-Moussawi, Director of the Administrative Affairs Department.

On Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD) welcomed His Excellency Shri Prashant Pise, the Ambassador of India to Iraq, to its headquarters in the Governorate of Najaf Al-Ashraf. He was formally received by the Executive Director and the staff of Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue.

Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD) headquarters welcomed His Excellency Mr. Muhammad Zeeshan Ahmed, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Iraq. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr. Mahdi Abbas, the Deputy Head of the Pakistani Mission in Iraq. They were formally received by Dr. Asaad Kadhim Shabib, Head of the RCD's Board of Advisors, along with the Center's senior staff.

A delegation from Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD), led by Professor Dr. Ahmed Sami Al-Mamouri, Deputy Executive Director of the Center, undertook a formal visit to Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University. The delegation also comprised Professor Dr. Miqdam Abd al-Hassan Al-Fayyadh, Director of the Research and Development Department, and Professor Dr. Asaad Kadhim Shabib, Director of the Administrative Affairs Department.

A delegation from Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD), headed by Dr. Ahmed Sami Al-Mamouri, the Center's Deputy Executive Director for Scientific Affairs, has visited the senior administrative staff of the Al-Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies. The RCD delegation also included Dr. Miqdam Al-Fayyadh, Director of the Research and Development Department, and Dr. Asaad Shabib, Director of the Administrative Affairs Department.

Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD) hosted His Excellency Mr. Jacob Wiersma, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Iraq. The delegation also included Mr. Bart Hoffman, First Secretary for Political Affairs, and Mr. Yasser Koti, Senior Advisor at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Iraq. They were received for a dialogue session attended by Dr. Ahmed Sami Al-Mamouri, Deputy Executive Director for Scientific Affairs at RCD, along with several department directors and honored guests.

Mr. Hassan Hadi Al-Hilali, the Deputy Director of the Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD), held separate meetings with Major General Dr. Muhammad Sami Al-Sultani, the Police Commander of Najaf Governorate, and Major General Muhammad Ismail, Director of the Directorate of Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism.

Mr Zaid Al-Talqani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Rafidain Centre for Dialogue (RCD), received a delegation from the European Institute of Peace (EIP) at the centre’s headquarters in Baghdad. The meeting was organized by Al-Rafidain Centre for Dialogue (RCD), Dr Falah Jawad Kazem, director of the centre’s Baghdad branch, and Mr Muhammad al-Bayati, the centre’s advisor for program affairs.

Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (R.C.D.) hosted His Excellency the Deputy Australian Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Steven Yates, in its primary headquarters in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf during a friendly visit attended by a group of professors and academics from the centre's staff and colleagues.
