Weekly Dialogue Summery – 35th Week
The Federal Supreme Court is the discriminant factor: Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi emphasized that Baghdad position is clear towards the Region, and the constitutional court supports Baghdad’s demand of establishing control over all the Iraqi territories by the federal authority. Some point out that the Kurds are holding on to the dream of independence, and that the referendum has been recorded in the history and nobody can deny it, as an attempt to express the Kurdish self. Others see that most Iraqi politicians experience a state of political alienation, and they did not adapt to the current situation, and they are thinking about how to deal with the acute stage due to the negative productivity in all aspects of the administrative, political, economic, service production, and the killing of the citizenship soul.

Weekly Dialogue Summery – 34th Week
During this week’s summery, some interlocutors said that the Iraqi Parliament voting for selecting the members of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent High Electoral Commission is but the death of the democratic system, because of choosing commissioners who belong to political parties, and not independent. In addition, others see that the leaders of the Popular Mobilization must leave the statements and foreign relations to the government through its relevant institutions, due to the proliferation of the unprofessional media that work to distort and misrepresent their statements.

Weekly Dialogue Summery – 33rd Week
During the last week, discussion was made on several topics including the emergence of “components” term after 2003, considering it the main reason behind Iraq’s problems. Some expressed their opinion saying, “the meanest and most dangerous word in the constitution is (components)”, and it is shame to turn citizenship into components. Some see that the phenomenon of components in the political life in Iraq is associated with the existing customs that are correlative to the political process, and it is not resulted from the constitution.

Weekly Dialogue Summery – 32nd Week
In this week’s dialogue, some inquired: will the wrong decision of the Iraqi Kurdish leaderships bring scourge on their long-suffering people? Alternatively, are the Iraqi rulers always cruel and criminals? Anyway, this description does not apply for Dr. Haider al-Abadi, whose lasting balance and wisdom are agreed on by everyone. Some see that the Kurds of Iraq, as citizens, enjoy the best freedoms and rights as equal as the rest of the components, while their peers in the neighboring countries struggle to gain part of their rights. Some agreed that the Kurdish movement in Iraq is the oldest and most mature in the region and has an ambition of leading the Kurdish affairs regionally. They also see that the Peshmerga forces are too smart and wise to put themselves in the shoes of ISIS terrorist organization or to be out of the Iraqi constitution.

Weekly Dialogue Summery – 31st Week
“We will not use our army against our people”, a great address by Mr. Prime Minister Dr. Haider al-Abadi, with an emphasis by many on the importance of supporting his balanced and unreactive policy, as evidenced by the agreement of all neighboring and foreign states on his policy because he worked wisely. Some inquired about the next step that Baghdad will take in the face of the referendum, and some think that the constitution negates the previous agreements that date back to the opposition era such as the right to self-determination and other concepts. Meanwhile, the challenging and provocative manner of the Kurdish leadership indicates the weakness in its strategic vision due to the lack of positive interaction with the current reasonability of the Center.

Weekly Dialogue Summery – 30th Week
We start the summery of this week with an emphasis by the interlocutors that the referendum is an ideal opportunity for the government to correct the political process, build the state and apply the laws on everyone, while others undermined the importance of the referendum for being unrecognized and illegal. Simultaneously, some are surprised by the change of positions among the politicians, as most of the political leaders have signed on the Kurds’ demands in the past while denied them today. Others think that the best solution is to give the Kurds a state within the boundaries of 2003, and leave them to interact with the neighboring states, as their desire is not different from the demands for the Regions of Middle Euphrates and Basra, and another region that includes Iraq’s Sunnis.

Also, an emphasis was placed on the content of those terms for being associated with the political future of the country, with a reference to the fact that the change is up to the Iraqi voter rather than the theoretical or security terms.
