Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue RCD held a symposium titled "Future Prospects of Iraq-Netherlands Relations: from Friendship to Cooperation", on RCD's Sérgio Vieira de Mello Hall, in presence of H.E. Mr. Michel Rentenaar, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Iraq, and was attended by several academics, officials, and media professionals, along with the political advisor at the embassy.

Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue RCD, in cooperation with the Chinese Institute of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR), held a virtual seminar on “ ZOOM ” platform entitled: "The Milestones and Prospects of Contemporary Iraqi-Chinese Relations" attended by the Chinese Deputy Ambassador, Dr. Jian Fangning, who spoke about the Chinese role in Iraq, in the field of energy and investment companies.

A delegation from the Rafidain Center for Dialogue RCD, headed by Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, Executive Director of RCD, and Dr. Ahmed Sami Al-Mammouri, Head of the Research and Development Department, attended a special expanded meeting with Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, a group of ministers, professors, and political analysts from all over Iraq, at the government palace in Baghdad to discuss the latest situation and developments in the Iraqi arena.

Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue has held an integrated session “in person” in Al-Salam Hall at RCD’s headquarters in the holy city of Najaf, and “virtually” through ZOOM platform, under the title: "Cybercrime Law: a Legislative Necessity or a Restriction of Freedoms". Where Prof. Dr. Diaa Al-Asadi, Former Dean of Faculty of Law – University of Karbala, delivered a lecture tackled all that law issues, which is the theme of the session. He made a comparison between the need of law in general and the cybercrime or computer crime law in particular, clarifying that if we go over the law in force, we might have dissension and disagreement between specialists.

Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue RCD concluded a joint cooperation agreement with the National Commission for the Revival of the Heritage of the Allama Sayed Muhsin Al-Amin in the Syrian Arab Republic. The agreement aims to create an environment for constructive democratic dialogue between the two parties, not to adopt any sectarian, ethnic, racial or regional trends, and to develop scientific research in all that serves the two brotherly countries.

Qubad Talabani, Vice President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, met in Baghdad with a delegation representing Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue RCD headed by Dr. Talib Muhammad Karim, a member of the Board of Directors of the Center. During the meeting, they discussed the overall political and economic developments in the country, in particular the relationship between the region and the center, and searched for solutions to outstanding problems.

Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, Executive Director of Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue RCD, received Ms. Julia Seider, the advisor of the German Cooperation Agency, The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) at RCD's headquarters in Najaf.

Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue RCD held a symposium entitled: “Iraqi-British Relations: Reality and Prospects of Cooperation”, in which the British Ambassador to Iraq Stephen Hickey gave a lecture on the nature of the relationship between Britain and Iraq, and on the British government’s role and support, whether in the economic, industrial or military fields. He pointed to magnitude of the problems and challenges that Iraq experienced after 2003 due to the absence of strong security institutions.

Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue RCD held a symposium entitled "Iraqi-European Cooperation: Vision and Prospects of Cooperation", hosting the Ambassador of the European Union in Iraq, Mr. Martin Huth, where the Ambassador discussed the most important common issues between the Republic of Iraq and the European Union and the importance of each to the other.

Within the activities of the expanded conference to review the development agenda towards a recovery plan responsive to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic that held by the Ministry of Planning, with the support of the United Nations Development Program in Baghdad, Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, the Executive Director of Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue RCD gave a research presentation in which he addressed the reality of education in Iraq under Covid-19 pandemic.
